Oakhill College has unveiled its new state-of-the-art kitchens and hospitality suite within the recently refurbished McIntosh Building.
Purpose built to support both Food Technology and Hospitality education, the new facilities provide students with access to contemporary learning spaces designed to mirror real world industry environments. The redevelopment features modern commercial grade appliances, dedicated food preparation areas, extensive dry and cold storage, and industry standard equipment that will enhance hands on learning experiences.
The project forms part of Oakhill's ongoing commitment to providing future-focused learning environments that equip students with practical skills and industry relevant knowledge.
In addition to the new hospitality facilities, the refurbishment has delivered new change rooms and additional classrooms, creating a flexible and contemporary learning environment that supports collaboration, creativity and experiential learning.
The upgraded spaces will enable students to further develop their culinary, hospitality and workplace skills in facilities that reflect current industry standards and practices.
