The 2018 Oakhill College Visual Arts and TAS Showcase was proudly held on Tuesday, 4 September, in the Centenary Sports Centre Foyer and Benildus Hall.
With entertainment provided by talented student buskers, as well as one of the College bands, the night saw the community come together to appreciate the labours of Year 12 HSC major works.
Projects from students studying Industrial Technology, Timber, Graphics, Visual Arts, and Design and Technology were on display.
Principal, Br Steve Hogan was so impressed with the outstanding calibre and the variety of the projects. “The Showcase is an important opportunity to recognise our students’ achievements, share the culmination of hard work with family and friends, and to celebrate the completion of this component of the course.”
“The diversity and quality of individual projects is a reflection of the freedom that our students have to explore their individual interests under the guidance of wonderful teaching staff.”
