Administration Support Officer (Curriculum)
Full-Time Permanent Position
Work predominantly during term time only/ approx. 41 weeks per year
Oakhill College is seeking to appoint a skilled and experienced Administration Support Officer to provide high-level administrative assistance to the Assistant Principal Curriculum and the Director of Student Learning. The ideal candidate will have a background in fast-paced, service-oriented environment with the ability to handle daily tasks and responsibilities with professionalism, compassion, and discretion. Experience in a school setting is preferred.
The role is required to be performed predominantly during school term time only, 202 days per academic year (term time only with approximately 2 additional weeks to be worked). The hours of work will be 8am to 4.06pm, Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Principal Curriculum and the Director of Student Learning, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of tasks;
• Skilled in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective reports, emails, and presentations;
• Assist in maintaining clear communication and the dissemination of key information to staff, students, and parents;
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, agendas, and other key documents for curriculum-related meetings and initiatives;
• A compassionate, student-centered approach, demonstrating a clear understanding of pastoral care;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel;
• Maintain and manage the NESA database, ensuring the accuracy of student data and the smooth rollover of students into the new academic year;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, with a proactive approach;
• Driven, results orientated using a high level of initiative;
• Handle sensitive student and curriculum data with discretion and confidentiality;
• Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail, ensure accuracy, and manage time effectively;
• Other administrative tasks as directed.
