On Monday 11th November, Benjamin Dunkerley, Year 12, 2020 attended the NSW Schools Constitutional Convention at NSW Parliament House. He was one of 150 students from all over NSW selected to attend. The convention focused on the topic of ‘Change and the Australian Constitution (Amending the Constitution)’. Throughout the day, students discussed and debated the process involved in changing the Australian Constitution and the accessibility and usefulness of this process for modern Australia.
At the conclusion of the Convention, Benjamin was selected to attend the National Schools Constitutional Convention in Canberra in March 2020. This is a high accolade for Ben and the continuance of the strong representation Oakhill College has had at this event over the last few years.
Congratulations and well done Benjamin!
